Group Training
We assist farmers in forming official collectives so they can benefit from peer support and economies of scale. In partnership with professional agronomists, we deliver on-the-ground onboarding and training sessions so our farmers understand how to maximize their yield volume, increase the quality of their produce, and efficiently deliver their produce to our collection centers. We designate community leaders who are in charge of organizing regular meetings and act as the contact point between Vunatec and their respective farmer collective.
Market Linkages
We establish centralized collection facilities within proximity to multiple farmer collectives. We coordinate with farmers to organize dedicated drop-off days during harvest seasons to ensure a streamlined process. Farmers are paid fair prices in a timely manner, and once collected the produce is transported and sold to our trusted partners for domestic distribution or export.
Financial Services
Farmers struggle to access the capital they need to break the cycle of poverty. We are working hard to assist farmers in accessing group loans so they can do things like purchase new seed varieties and fertilizers, install irrigation systems, or build sustainable farming infrastructure.
